It`s almost spring time so obviously that means breaking out in the florals! Flattering on all body types and so much fun to wear, I have at least 4 items purchased to wear throughout the summer months! They all await me eagerly!! Usually worn with cute cardi`s and pumps, the casual style of a floral number can be vamped up and don`t you forget it! Here, Donna displays just how to do so.
She has added a smart boyfriend blazer from Penny`s at €23, the dress is Topshop at €38, her bag is from River Island at €63, her shoes are from New Look priced at €30 and the cute head band is from Miss Selfridge at €8!
I think it`s just about time to bring out my florals! Happy hunting!  xx

Model Train!

Last week I had the exciting priviledge of assisting Catherine Condell on the model train. Catherine is one of my favourite Irish stylists so it was a huge thrill to get to meet her! The model train is a weekly fashion show held on a Saturday in Brown Thomas were models are booked to wear one particular designer and parade the stores 4 levels in the choosen garments! It runs twice a day with three outfit changes and looks really stunning! Seven models were booked including, Sarah Morrissey, Sarah Mc Govern and Yomiko. This week it is Donna Karans designs that are being showcased. The highlight out of all the pieces is a wrap top called a `cozy`. The cozy can be worn 12 different ways, comes in an assortment of colours and ranges in price from e195 to e495 depending on whether you want a cashmere one! Here we have a picture of the lovely Sarah Morrissey being demonstrated on by a DKNY assistant. The top is amazing as it can change from halter to strapless to butterfly effect. You name it!

This week we also had male models on the model train (its usually just the girlies!) who were showcasing spring/summer creations from Paul Smith and Prada. The boys wore a mixture of suits and summerwear and accessories.

Between the seven girls and four boys it really is a fun and eye catching way to make the clothes come to life. The train normally finishes up around 3.30. Guests can enjoy clothing demonstrations while they sip on champagne. What a lovely way to spend a saturday!
Really should get started with the aul blogging!
