RIP Corinne Day

Credited with discovering Kate Moss and accused with encouraging anorexia, Corinne Day has passed away. The self taught photographer passed away after spending almost a year battling a vicious brain tumor. She was one of the fashion worlds most influential photographers.

Label Lust...

...at Helmut Lang. Just came across this amazing Lang creation and it`s on my want/need list. It`s multi-colour graphite design is very alluring and gives the impression of a more flattering silhouette. Infused draping and architectural elegance, this sculptured dress is a must have that will take you from office to evening!

A Room With A View....Stellar Shoot

Last month, I assisted stylist Corina Gaffey on one of her, in my opinion, most fabulous shoots to date. The shoot itself took place in one of Dublin`s oldest and finest hotels, The Gresham. Popular photographer Lili Forberg captured some stunning shots set in the Elizabeth Tayler suite. Stylist Corina pulled some really hot looks with sequins, lace and feminine ruffles being the call of the season. The shots are featured in September`s issue, which is on sale right now. Day off....What to do...

So I had a day off and what did I do? Raid every wardrobe I could, to come up with some styling fun. Thought Id post the results. Let me know what you think! All in the name of fun...and boredom!

Kate Hearts Pierre..

I`m really loving the new Balmain campaigns.  I can`t imagine a better choice than Kate Moss. Style icon and Balmain fan Kate lounges casually on a sofa letting the collection do all the talking. Im loving this simplistic campaign shot by none other than Inez & Vinoodh. Love, love love it...

Shoots and Shows 2010!!

So I was lucky enough to work on some really great fashion shoots and shows this year. Working with some of Irelands top stylists, photographers and make-up artists completely blew me away. From accessory and Deb shoots to A/W collection fashion shows I was lucky enough to work with some really great stylists who I`ve always admired... Here is a collection of just a few of my favorite shoots and shows. They include working on Irish Tatler, U magazine, Angels Quest charity luncheon with Catherine Condell and Fashion Extravaganza hosted by Bianca Gascoigne and Fair City actress Jenny Kavanagh. I could go on and on...

       

Kiss Debutante Shoot!

Here`s a look at some of the beautiful Deb dresses I assisted Kiss magazine on shoot. The magazine is on sale during the Deb season and is packed full of gorgeous, colorful and sparkly dresses for all you young girls to choose from! As well as that it is packed full of accessories, shoes and perfect make-up looks for your special night. It was one of my most enjoyable and fun shoots so far and I absolutely loved assisting the fabulous Corina Gaffey!
